Yes on 409 – Support Behavioral Health & Emergency Care
As Maricopa County’s only public teaching hospital and safety-net health system, Valleywise Health plays a vital role in providing trauma, burn, and behavioral health care — including all court-ordered evaluations in the county. November 4th, Prop 409 gives voters the opportunity to invest $898 million to expand services, modernize facilities, and train the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Potential Bond Projects and Expenditures
Proposition 409 – a $898 million bond would allow Valleywise Health to expand behavioral health services, increase inpatient and emergency room capacity, rebuild and expand community health centers to enhance physician training, build a replacement comprehensive health center, and make other infrastructure improvements.
